    As good as your blog was, I wish you had put your story for class on a separate page. This blog has all the hallmarks of a personal blog: the writer's name is at the top, but not a title; the bright color scheme; the tweet feed over on the right; and the motto on the bottom of the page. In contrast, most of the posts are political commentary. You can argue that you shouldn't separate the personal and the political aspects of your personality, but the HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY post cheapens the long post about Islam that follows it.

    Aside from that, the story on the Chinese New Year was good. You made sure to use pictures and video, which is a good way to hold the reader's interest. You might have used more hyperlinks--one of blogging's biggest advantages over newsprint is that you can direct readers to other sites.

    That said, there were some redundancies in the writing, and since that's the meat of the blog, you should probably proofread it. Either say that the Lion Dance is about good luck or let Joe Wang tell us so, but don't write both.
