TheStreet.com, a leading financial news Web site, is looking for an intern to help produce and enhance our site, and raise our profile through social networking. This is a chance to learn more about online publishing and financial journalism through hands-on experience. The intern would also work on photo galleries and other multimedia projects. There might be opportunities to write stories.
We’re looking for hard-working, creative, Web junkies who are highly motivated and able to work independently. They should have basic knowledge of blogs, social-networking tools and low-level HTML. They should also have solid news judgment and good writing skills. We would prefer someone who could work mornings on most weekdays. If you’re interested, send resumes to Parris Kellermann, managing editor of personal finance, at parris.kellermann@thestreet.com.

Social networking internship position
This internship was forwarded to me by Jessica Hanthorn [jesshanthorn@gmail.com] another adjunct here at COM, who is friendly with the M.E.at TheStreet.com. She warns the position may already be filled, but where's the harm in inquiring? —BMR
