"Host" by David Foster Wallace

I know the course is on multimedia journalism and this story uses only one medium, but this is the best use of hyperlinked information I've seen in a piece of journalism, even if it's probably overwritten. It's long, so make sure you have time before reading it.


If anyone's seen anything similar, post it in the comments. I'd love to read it.

If there are any legal troubles involved in posting this, let me know. I don't think there are, but I'm not well-read on the subject.

    I didn't have time to read the article (it's 2:00 a.m.). However, I have tried to read the first sentence, and it was too long to finish... :-)
